Whole House Renovation
We were tasked with a full house renovation in East Vancouver. The project involved stripping everything down to studs and working with an engineer to re-frame in order to open up the space. After the addition of an ensuite in the master and re-framing almost every wall, it was time to install vibrant finishings throughout.
Various Fence Projects of Ours
We love fences, a good fence makes the world of difference to your yard. We have built a variety of different custom fences. Here are a few of our different fence projects throughout the city. We offer cheaper, pre-made panels, but always prefer to make quality fences on site with attention to detail. Just because it is outside, does not mean we can cut corners.
An Entire House Remodel
A client was flipping this house in South Surrey and hired us to renovate the entire interior. We stripped almost everything, had to pour a lot of self level, got the house re-wired, reframed some walls and added a bathroom on the ground floor. We then brought our trades in to complete the finishings.
Structural Re-Build of a Collapsing Wall
Our client reached out when they noticed a small leak on an exterior wall. We started slowly removing stucco to assess the damage. It turned out the leak had been dripping for years and completely rotten the joists holding up the cantilevered wall, which held the roof, a major disaster waiting to happen. We used jacks to lift the entire wall back to height, removed all the rotten framing and re-built all structural members. After a green light from the engineer, we installed a new building membrane and stucco.
Master Bedroom Renovation
In this master bedroom, we cut the headboard wall down to open the room up. We then installed fillers above the wardrobe for a clean floor to ceiling look. The wardrobe was then covered with a beautiful wallpaper, turning it into a piece of art. Finally, we wrapped the front, sides and top of the headboard wall with a white oak vaneer.
Renovation of an Enclosed Deck
The enclosed deck on this house was falling apart and our client wanted to open it up to be used as a summer time patio. The deck was sloped towards the house, so we installed sloped sleepers across the deck to adjust the angle away form the house. We built stairs, installed new railings and a beautiful cedar feature wall.
Rotten Exterior Window Trim
These window trims are south facing, getting beaten by the sun all summer and rain all winter. A bit difficult to tell from the photos, but they were completely rotten. We removed and replaced all six window trims. We used cedar for the new trims, even if the sun damaged the paint, they will still be naturally water resistant.
Small Carpentry Projects
Some of the smaller stuff we do. Its not all big renovations. From hot tub stairs, to fire place mantles and small custom wood shelves for closets.
Laundry Room Remodel
This little laundry room needed some new storage space badly. We installed new cupboards with side shelving on one side, and floor to ceiling cabinetry with side shelving on the other. We also added a corner shoe rack and coat rack for more organization.
